Gnomes in Cars with Coffee

Our theme at Jingle Belles this week is - Not a Creature was Stirring.  We're making cards featuring animals or other creatures like gnomes, monsters or Yetis.

I chose the Christmas Cheer Gnomes from Rubbernecker Stamps (which I colored in the Blue/Coral color combination for Color Hues Challenge before I realized that challenge closed before this card posted).

 

 

I added the perfect sentiment from Impress Rubber Stamps Holiday Words.

Gnomes in Cars with Cocoa

We're still joining Caffeinated Christmas with our second June Jingle Belles prompt - to make a Masculine Holiday card (and add some coffee, cocoa or tea if you want to also link-up at their challenge).

I started with Rubbernecker Stamps Christmas Cheer Gnomes colored with Alcohol Ink Markers.  I paired them with a sentiment from Becca's Caffeinated Christmas by STAMPlorations.

 

 

I'm always amazed how many markers I need to get out to color a single image (that's about half of them).

 

 

Here's the Sketch Saturday layout I used for my card.

Holiday Cheer

The Jingle Belles are thrilled to be teaming-up with the Caffeinated Christmas Challenge this month - our first June prompt at Jingle Belles is to create a Christmas Card with Coffee (and make it  masculine if you're going to link-up at Caffeinated Christmas).

 

 

Caffeinated Christmas is sponsored by Rubbernecker stamps, so I incorporated several of their products into my design.

I started with their fabulous Rubbbernecker Coffee Bean Background for the base of my card framed on a red card base.

 

 

Next I die cut the Rubbernecker Coffee Cup Die cut in Red with the lid cut in black.  I cut the cup sleeve out of holiday holly paper from Simple Stories Claus & Co.  I used a tiny journaling card from the same collection behind the cup, stamping a Holiday Cheer stamp from Impress Holiday Word Set.

My husband asked me what made this card masculine and I told him it was the colors, but also because the Holiday *Cheer* was the shot of Kahlua that he puts in his coffee (LOL).

Rubbernecker Stamps and Eyelet Outlet

Our Eyelet Outlet Design Team had the privilege of creating designs using awesome Rubbernecker Stamps.  There were so many choices, I had a hard time narrowing down my stamps ... and the ones I picked are fantastic.

My first card features 7 images from the Rubbernecker Diva Inchies stamped in black.  I am a huge inchie fan and this set is filled with awesome girlie images.

 

I combined the inchies with the Women's Eye Glass & Cell Phone Selfie Brads from Eyelet Outlet.

 

 

I also cut individual gems from one of the Swirl Bling in Jewel Pink to embellish the stamped images.

 

 

 

My second card features Rubbernecker Stamps Heard You're sentiment, which pairs perfectly with some Bandaid Brads from Eyelet Outlet.

 

 

Here's a close-up of the text.

 

 

My final card features a gorgeous Rubbernecker Stamps Wild Garden Border 1 stamped in green on a piece of blue designer paper.

 

 

The Wild Garden was the perfect place for all sorts of Eyelet Outlet creatures to frolic.  There are two orange butterfly brads.

 

 

And a little baby bunny hiding in the grass.

 

 

I also added sun and cloud brads in the sky with some sticker sentiments.
