We're still creating fun SKETCH cards at Jingle Belles this week.
I found a fun die cut from Pretty Little Studio's Jolly Santa Die Cuts that worked perfectly with the layout. I wonder which Reindeer get their own beds?
I kept it simple with dotted designer paper, cardstock banners and a few glittery enamel dots. I used a sentiment that conveyed a good night's sleep.

This week we're celebrating Earth Day at Jingle Belles by creating with recycled products.
We're still making cards that hold gift cards at Jingle Belles. I found an ancient Gift Envelope Die from The Cat's Pajamas that used with some Memory Box Garland paper. I sponged grey ink around the edges of the envelope to give it a bit more contrast from the background. I also added a 3/8 inch Velcro Dot Closure that will easily allow the recipient to retrieve the card.
The card envelope worked perfectly with this week's Sketch Saturday. Since my background paper had a lovely image in the right corner, I flipped the sketch and added a 1 3/8 inch vellum square. The sentiment strips and stitches ticker are from Pretty Little Studio.

It's been a while since I've played along with the Snarky Sisterhood, and since this morning I'm feeling a bit snarky, it felt like the perfect opportunity to express it with some paper. This week's theme is M for Monochromatic.
Since I'm also about mixing-up my challenge, I chose the Rainbow Card Challenge Daffodil for my Monochromatic Hue.
For my snark, I went with one of my favorite Itty Bitty Stamps from Unity Stamp Company (that was gifted to me by my dear friend Cyndie) - Happy Dust, so I'm also joining the Let's Get Itty Bitty Challenge at the Unity {Show & Tell} Facebook Page.
In hindsight, it probably would have been better to stamp my sentiment in black, but I was trying to stay as monochromatic as possible.
The layout is this week's Saturday Sketch. I finished with a stiches sticker from Pretty Little Studio and three enamel dots.
And for a little more Daffodil Fun ... I made a Bee out of trash/recycled materials for the Ecofest Focus on Bees and took her (I named her Gilda after Gilda Radner in her Bee Costume) to join her other friends at the public hives outside our home.
I love the Sketch at Seize the Birthday.
I paired some 3-D Happy Birthday stickers with a sentiment from Taylored Expressions Simple Strips - Birthday. Then I added some fun Sticker Stitching from Pretty Little Studio.
We're still making card at Jingle Belles this week that are inspired by the fabulous Boho Holiday Decorations at Love the Day.
I chose the word art on the mantel to inspire my card this week. I started with the Unity Stamp Company Rejoice for our SILENT NIGHT in three colors of PinkFresh Studio Ink (Soft Lilac, Ocean Breeze and Candy Violet) masking each section with painters tape, so I could get the middle section inked easily. I added some scalloped stickers from Pretty Little Studio to ground my image (like the mantel does).
Next I die cut two Contempo Trees & Backdrops from Frantic Stamper Inc. in coordinating colors to give the feel of the bottle brush trees next to the art in the inspiration photo.
I chose a woodgrain paper for my card base inspired by the wall in the photo.
I finished with bits of tiny bling on my stamped image & the tops of the trees.
