The Creative Confetti Challenge at Power Poppy Stamps this week is a Sketch.
I love this gorgeous Hops Stamp from Power Poppy O Hoppy Day more each time I stamp it. This time I stamped it in Versafine Clair Green Oasis on Ivory Cardstock.
I used the same ink for the sentiment on light green cardstock. I finished with enamel dots for the embellishment element of the sketch.
I'm also linking-up at Cardz 4 Guyz where the challenge theme is no patterned paper.

I stamped several images and sentiments from the Power Poppy O Hoppy Day Set using the colors from the current Hand Stamped Sentiments Color Challenge.
I used Hexagon, Square and Circle Dies and Punches to cut out pieces of the images. I made the square glass of the beer the central focal point of the design and then built the rest of the images around it using foam tape for some of them for some dimension on my kraft card base.
That was a fun little design exercise to end my day.

I love the gorgeous stamps in the Power Poppy O Hoppy Day Stamp Set. I stamped it in green on ivory cardstock and then cut it with a wonky stitched square.
I added a layer of green before attaching to 4 1/4" square card base. The Hoppy Father's Day sentiment is from the same set. I finished with some metallic bling to accent the sentiment.
Today I uploaded my 2000th image to my SplitcoastStampers Gallery ... I had no idea the path that stamping would take me when I uploaded my first card in 2007, but I am forever grateful for the journey.
It is also appropriate that my card is for the Inspiration Challenge, since that was my home since joining that community. My card is inspired by The Very, Very Many Varieties of Beer Poster from Dormify.
I made a Clean & Simple design using stamps from Marcella Hawley's Power Poppy O Hoppy Day Set ... as always my MISTI makes stamping like this a piece of cake (or pint of beer in this case).
I used a couple of Gold Brown Spectrum Noir Markers to turn my pint into a nice wheat beer. One of my husband's favorite things about the downtown condo where we live is our proximity to four local breweries within walking distance ... so this pint is for him.
