The December Challenge at Poppy Stamps is Let It Snow!
Strangely enough I didn't have any snowflakes, but I do have the adorable Poppy Stamps Whittle Snowman, so I added him as an accent to a birthday card, since I need to restock my masculine birthday card stash.
I die cut the Poppy Stamps Playful Happy Birthday Die from a Gel Press Print. I also die cut the Whittle Snowman's hat from the same print. I finished with a few Eyelet Outlet Snowflake Bling stickers.
Day 10 of the 12 Tags of Christmas at Ellen Hutson is - Frosty the Snowman with Amy Tsuruta.
I started with the Poppystamps Whittle Friendly Snowman and dressed him with a black glitter top had and plaid scarf using Memory Box Dashing Holiday designer paper. I added some Doodlebug Eye See You Shape Sprinkles.
I used a vintage A Muse sentiment stamp to finish the design.

The theme for the November PoppyStamps Challenge is Fabulous Fall.
I chose this PoppyStamps Adriana Wreath Die with its fall leaves as my focal point. I die cut it three times from the cardstock colors in this weeks Global Design Project Challenge.
And since Fall is the season for thanksgiving, I paired it with a thanks sentiment from PoppyStamps Peony Bouquet.

The July Challenge at Poppy Stamps is Over the Rainbow.
I started by using some unopened Jane Davenport Art Essentials Mermaid Markers to create a striped rainbow on white cardstock. When it dried, I added a coat of Avery Elle Clear Shimmer Spray, and then I die cut the cardstock with the Poppy Stamps Arched Deco Plate that reminded me of rainbows.
I used a similar rainbow of inks on the Poppy Stamps Art Deco Birthday sentiment.
I finished with a rainbow of sequins down the right side.
I'm also joining the Anything Goes with Dies Challenge at Happy Little Stampers.
I intended to make a Beaver card with a Wood joke on it (Wood is the last name of several family members, so that was the intended recipient), but instead I managed to drop my Poppy Stamps Whittle Beaver Die somewhere in my studio (I heard it hit the floor), and despite both me and my husband crawling around on the floor and using flashlights, we had no luck locating it (I know you feel my pain).
So instead for Poppy Stamps My Guy! card, I moved on to the Whittle Goat. I die cut him three times from grey cardstock, stacked them, and then used a little grey ink for some shading.
I stamped the sentiment from Poppy Stamps Whittle Wild Animal Sentiments.
The May Challenge at Poppy Stamps is Floral Fantasy.
I pulled out my Poppy Stamps Peony Bouquet and decided to revisit an inking technique from this inky card from two years ago. I used my MISTI to stamp the Peony image with fade-out grey ink and then grabbed a combination of yellow and peach dye inks and my masking tape and went to work.
After adding the ink, I re-stamped in Jet Black Amalgam Ink (which is why the MISTI is so important). I used the Happy Birthday sentiment from the same set, and then trimmed down my panel to mount with foam tape on a white card base.
Before I revisited the instructions (that reminded me to stamp in fade-out ink), I had already stamped the image with Jet Black Amalgam Ink, so I made a second floral fantasy design.
I cut the Easter Egg off the Poppy Stamps Decorated Egg Stitched Frame and attached it over my stamped Peony Bouquet with foam tape. I used the same sentiment and finished with some Pink Fresh Studio bright pink jewels.

The April Poppy Stamps Challenge is to add some Texture to your card.
I decided to combine that with the Let's Squash It! Challenge to add Geometry and Repeating Patterns.
I started with the Lined Diamond Embossing Folder for my repeating geometry (no name on the folder & I was unable to locate the source ... that's what happens when you have 20 years of art supplies). I use the colors from The Paper Players for my design.
I due cut the Poppy Stamps Baylan House with the roof die cut from black ... it also has a repeated embossed texture that was hard to capture in the photo.
I finished with a stamped sentiment from Poppy Stamps Art Deco Birthday Greetings and a few Love from Lizi Black Peel Off strips to frame my panel.
The current Poppy Stamps Challenge is to use Pretty Papers on your card ... and what could be prettier than papers I made myself with paint & my Gel Press.
All of the papers on my card were either Gel Press prints or roll-off papers where I cleaned my brayer (honestly sometimes those can be as pretty as the prints I make).
The only paper I didn't print/paint was the cardstock I used with the Poppy Stamps Geometric Deco Die Cut Frame. I stamped a sentiment from Poppy Stamps Art Deco Birthday Greetings on a painted piece of roll-off paper (that I actually pulled from my trash can).
I finished with a wrap of hemp cord to bring a bit more of the blue into the design.
And even though this is technically a birthday sentiment, it's going to be a Mother's Day card for one of my friends.

The February Poppy Stamps Challenge is to use Hearts or Felt (or in my case, both).
The main layered die is the Adora Layering Dies from sister company Birch Press cut in three shades of purple. The center heart is from Poppy Stamps Heart Confetti Collage.
I used a sentiment from sister company Memory Box Big and Little Valentines. I die cut a felt circle on which to place the design.
I finished with a strip of watercolor paper painted with Dylusions Shimmer Paints.

The December Challenge at Poppy Stamps is Happy Holly Days.
I pulled out some Memory Box glitter paper and cardstock for the card base & die cut the Poppy Stamps Frozen Flakes from the glitter paper.
The sentiment is Poppy Stamps Tidings of Joy.
