Since Lauren & I started Jingle Belles in 2010, I've been recapping my five favorite Christmas cards of the year (you can find 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022 here) ... I always enjoy revisiting my creations for the year.
Here are this year's favorites in no particular order.
1. This card was when I was a Guest Designer for one of my favorite challenges, the Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers - R is for Reindeer. I love the simplicity (but not plainness) of the design; the fact that I colored with my markers (which I don't do nearly enough) and the fun little sweater.
2. This card was for our Neutral Noel Challenge at our 13th Year of Jingle Belles. I love the combination of recycled packaging, handmade paper, pearl flourishes and blooms.
3. This clean & simple design featuring gorgeous Mintay holiday papers just really sings to me. The texture of the velvet ribbon with staples was the perfect finishing touch.
4. This wonky-eyed Memory Box felt snowman for the Caffeinated Christmas Coffee & Snowman Challenge stole my heart. I just love the proportions and the softness of the glittery felt with the gorgeous Memory Box designer paper. How can the perfect use of googly eyes and Love from Lizi Peel-offs not make the favorites??
5. Gina K. Designs Wreath Builder always produces such complex and lovely designs. I love my wreath with the wonderful sanded embossed texture on the card base.
Remember, Lauren and I will be back for our 14th year of our Jingle Belles Mayhem to help you make at least one holiday card a week, so you can take back your December one holiday card at a time.
