Color Hues Bloom

I have one more card for the current Color Hues Challenge of Kraft & Red that runs through January 14th.

 

 

For this card, I used two shades of kraft cardstock (there are so many possibilities for kraft, and I love them all).  I cut Kristina Werner's Cheerful Flower die in the lighter kraft and red.

 

 

I paired it with Kristina Werner's Thin Frames die as well as the Concord & 9th Petite Frame dies and coordinating sentiment.  I positioned them all on a darker kraft cardbase (I love the wonderful flecks in this kraft) and finished with red gems under my sentiment and in the flower center.

 

 

With all of the new die cuts on this card, I'm also linking-up at the Something New theme at the Cut It Up Challenge.

 

 

Just Because Flowers

I'm the Guest Designer the current Color Hues Challenge.

 

Here's another card I made using the colors of Red & Kraft with Kristina Werner's Cheerful Flowers Background Stamp.

 

 

The sentiment is from Kristina Werner Checking In Stamp Set and coordinating Die Cut (love this set).  

And I'm joining the Simon Says Something New Challenge with my new Stencil, sentiment stamp & coordinating die cut.

Color Hues Cutie

I'm thrilled to be Guest Designing for the newest Color Hues Challenge - Red & Kraft.

 

 

I tried several combinations, but finally settled on a classic ... red hearts.  I created my own red papers using my GelliArts Press, and then I die cut the Lawn Fawn Candy Hearts Lawn Cuts.

 

 

I used the same Gelliarts print to die cut the Kristina Werner A2 Thin Frames die and then again for my larger mat.  For the center solid heart, I stamped a sentiment from Lawn Fawn How You Bean? Conversation Heart Add-on in red ink on kraft and punched it out with one of the heart punches in my stash.

I finished with a few Doodlebug Design tiny heart stickers from the Sugarplum Street Doodle-Pop Stickers.

Doggie Sympathy

I recently acquired Kristina Werner's Loved & Missed Stamps and coordinating die cuts.  Unfortunately, soon after, I needed it when my neighbor lost her faithful companion Tallulah. 

 

 

 

I went with a clean & simple design combining the die with multiple stamps.

Spellbinders Advent Ephemera

The next day of my Spellbinders Advent Calendar was a packet of adorable ephemera die cuts.  I had fun using them with a sticker sentiment and one of the Spellbinders papers from yesterday.  What an adorable little quartet.

 

 

Next I used another paper and had fun making a holiday wreath with a lot of the smaller ephemera die cuts.  Rather than a bow on top, I positioned one of the larger holly leaves & berries. 

With my Polar Bear and my Reindeer, I'm linking-up at the Z is for Zoo Animal Prompt at ABC Christmas Challenge.  Santa Claus is also joining the Santa Claus is Coming to Town Challenge at Try it on Tuesday.

 

 

I added the same Kristina Werner Concord & 9th sentiment (I just can't put it away ... it so perfect for so many situations) and a bunch of tiny red gems for allover sparkle.

Be Merry

Day 2 of the Spellbinders Advent Calendar was a lovely stack of papers.  They were just perfect to use with this week's Sketch Saturday Layout.

 

 

I finished with the wonderful Be Merry Stamp from Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th ... love it.
