When I saw this week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch, I knew it would be perfect for the rest of the American Crafts House Inchies I made earlier today.

 

I dusted off my Heffy Doodle Slimline Trio Dies for my layout with the colors from the TGIF Challenges.

 

I found the perfect sentiment from my Taylored Expressions Simple Strips Christmas.

a Twinchie Holiday

Our current prompt at Jingle Belles is to create a card featuring Inchies (one inch squares or circles) or Twinchies (two inch squares or circles).

I cute three two-inch squares from some Tim Holtz packaging and then use a collection of Tim Holtz Holiday Ephemera, stickers, and gems to build three little collages.

 

I backed the collages with some Poinsettia paper and then lined them up on a 7" card base before wrapping with some twine.

 

 

We hope you'll have fun going small with us this week at Jingle Belles.

Water Colored Inchie Birthday

The theme at CAS Mix Up Challenge is all about Inchies.

 

 

I stamped some of my favorite Inkadinkado Inchie Stamps ... and for my third component, I chose water coloring with Color Burst to create the vibrant blue background strip.

 

 

 

I added a wrap of this wonderful ITO Gima Yarn that I think works perfectly for masculine designs.

Purple Inchie Birthday

This weekend is all about making some masculine birthday cards (why am I always out of them??) 

This one features this week's Freshly Made Sketch, which is all about INCHIES ... there was a time when INCHIES were a big deal in stamping (Ellen Hutson even had an INCHIE Inklings Blog).  I have saved some of my favorite Inchie stamps sets from Inkadinkado stashed away in my collection and love pulling them out for some inking.

 

I chose PURPLE for my color for the current Passion for Purple Rainbow Card Challenge ... and accented my design with trios of purple pearls.  The sentiment is from The Ink Road Lit AF Set.

Jingle My Bells

We're still having fun with INCHIES and our Merry LITTLE Christmas at Jingle Belles.

Inchies are perfect for tiny little stamps like these super-fun Irreverent Elf Messages from Hero Arts (because seriously, you know those elves are irreverent).

Some Vintage Basic Grey papers and a few adhesive pearls, and this card came together quickly (and makes me smile).

Inchie Little Christmas

We're celebrating a Merry LITTLE Christmas at Jingle Belles ... by creating with Inchies or Twinchies.

I went with Inchie Circles ... I found a vintage sheet of these in my crafting stash (I think they were made to go inside bottle caps).  I punched out five of them and then edged them with a black Sharpie Marker for a solid border.

The background was a leftover piece of Yupo paper from Creativation.  There was text printed on the Yupo that we then transferred to a leather bracelet using our Gel Press.  When I was finished, it was just to pretty to discard, so I splashed it with three colors of alcohol inks.  It was so fun ... and I love it as a background.

Musical Inchie Birthday

It was fun to break out some Inchie stamps for this week's Mojo Monday Sketch.

I embellished with Music Note Brads and Red Enamel Hearts ... both from Eyelet Outlet.

Dancing Shoes

When I saw the layout at Feeling Sketchy, I knew it was time to pull out some oldie-but-goodies stamps from my collection ... Inkadinkado Inches.

I always love the cards I make with these stamps ... such fun little images inside an inch.  I use my 1 1/4" square punch for the image and 1 3/8" square for the frame.  Since my sentiment was in my squares, I skipped the one below.

Inchie Birthday Celebration

I love my collection of Inkadinkado Inchie stamps ... and this week's Freshly Made Sketch is the perfect opportunity to break them out.

I chose some fun party stamps for a masculine birthday card design.

The colors are from this week's As You See It Challenge.

I'm also joining the talented ladies at Shopping Our Stash where they're Going Paperless ... using no designer paper ... just three shades of cardstock for me.

Hop to Stop

Becca Krueger (aka The Damsel of Distressed) is hosting a very important Hop ... the Hop to Stop.

Becca is asking you to create something purple ... because purple is the color of National Domestic Violence Awareness month. 1 in 3 women will experience domestic violence over the course of her lifetime. Let that sink in - 33% of all the women you meet. 

 

And women aren't the only people who are affected ... women, men, transgender - gender doesn't matter. Domestic violence is something that exists regardless of gender, socioeconomic status, religion, education level, etc.
