Woot! Woot!

I wanted to create a card using the funky Non-Traditional Halloween Colors at ClearSnap.

I used this week's Freshly Made Sketch for my layout.

A little Woot! Woot! with some purple bats and sequins ... and a big gem for her eyeball.

Good Luck

Today's request was for a Good Luck card featuring a Beer ... to which my husband commented, who needs good luck when you have a beer ... gotta love that guy.

Layout is from Try Stampin' on Tuesday which has a Masculine Touch this week.  Papers are Basic Grey Persimmon.  Main image is A Round of Cocktails ... a favorite from Unity ... with an EAD Sticker sentiment.

Fusion Challenge - Butterflies

I love the current Fusion Card Challenge inspiration photo ... it sent me on the hunt for butterflies & more butterflies, which I found in Echo Park's Walk in the Park Collection.

The sketch layout was perfect for featuring the lovely butterfly paper ... for the circle, I used a Tree Sticker filled with more butterflies & hearts (picking-up the hearts in the background on the inspiration design).

The rest of the design is stickers ... border, flowers & sentiment.  I hoipe this bright cheery card will make the recipient smile.

EAD Crazy Love

Today is going to be special!  There's a group of us that are EAD Designs' fans so we decided to inspire each other to use our remaining EAD stash.  For those of you that don't remember, EAD Designs created vinyl stickers and rub-ons.  Awesome products but the company closed up shop over a year ago.

What all of our projects will have in common is that we are all using EAD Goodies and our challenge is:

 

Love & Valentines

This card was a reminder of one of the best things about EAD Stickers ... they are repositionable ... so if you don't get things lined-up quite right, you can just remove the sticker and try again without ever tearing the paper (which I did more than once trying to line of my grid) ... I wish another sticker company would find a way to make that happen.

I attached my sticker squares in a grid and then added an XOXO rub-on over the heart sticker.  I finished with another cut-out heart sticker and Paper Issues sequins inspired by last week's CASE Study Card by Donna Mikasa (just because I'm late doesn't mean I can't still be inspired)

12 Tags of Christmas - Ellen Hutson Inspired

Here it is ... my final tag for the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist ... this time inspired by Ellen Hutson.

I decided to incorporate her fun trendy color palette with a Bokeh stamping effect for my tag design.

I couldn't find a solid circle stamp for my Bokeh stamping, so I flipped-over one of the single typewriter key stamps from Hero Arts My Type and stamped with the back of it using Berrylicious & Artic Deep Chalk Inks ... stamping 3 times with each inking (and stamping the first darker one on scrap paper toward the end to get more of the softer colored circles).

I finished with an EAD Designs grey vinyl rub-on sentiment and some fun foam Rudolph stickers I picked-up at Hobby Lobby.

Holly Jolly Christmas

We're having another EAD Designs group hop ... this time we're creating holiday cards with our favorite EAD Designs stickers & rub-ons.

These were clear stickers, so I attached them to pearlized cardstock & detail cut before attaching to the card with foam tape.  The layout is this week's Deconstructed Sketch.

Love * Peace * Joy

I wasn't quite sure what to do with the rectangle in this week's CAS(E) this Sketch.

I started by covering a rectangle with candy striped washi tape, but it all blended together ... so next I added strips of black washi tape and a black cardstock border to get more contrast.

The stripes reminded me of candy canes, so I went looking for something Christmasy to finish the design.  I added three jolly snowmen ... and a triple sticker sentiment to finish the design.

Hooked on Fishing

Tonight I'm sharing a quick masculine birthday card using some 3-D stickers, EAD Deisgn Rub-on sentiment and this week's Freshly Made Sketch.

On my travels this week, I picked-up a copy of Card Creations for Him ... I would say this one falls in the Rough &Tumble Category.

Absosmurfly

Of all of the crafting companies I've seen come and go over the years, EAD Designs is the one I miss the most.  Their wide selection of designs, respositionable stickers, and fabulous vinyl rub-ons made cardmaking so easy.  

This week a group of us have decided to make cards using our EAD Designs stash together with this week's Seize the Sketch.

I had trouble choosing what product to use, but I finally settled on the Smurfs stickers, since they were unique to EAD Designs ... who wouldn't smile when this arrived in their mailbox.

Glittery Muse

I love Janet Ribet's card at this week's Muse Challenge.

I knew I wanted a blue Christmas tree and some glitter ... and I ended-up with lots and lots of glitter.

I die cut my Dee's Distinctively Christmas Tree No. 1 from Teal Blue glitter paper from DCWV.  I attached it to a silver glitter background.  I distressed the edge of my landscape, since it was hard for glitter-on-glitter to be visible.

I finished with an EAD Designs Vinyl Rub-on sentiment and pearl flourishes to decorate my holiday tree ... love that sparkle.
