The newest challenge at Shopping Our Stash is to create a card with some of those Crafty Remnants that are scattered about your craft table. In my case, they are all in a little box where I store them (something new I started ... I used to throw many of them away).
Here's the pile I accumulated from the scrap box on my table and multiple other things I had piled about on my table. Much of what I ultimately used is buried underneath ... you can see one of the digital tags peeking out of the top and the man's top hat in the bottom right.
I started with a digital tag that I received as a gift with purchase. Next I attached a torn piece of my gold asemic writing that I made for my Collage Class.
On top of that I positioned a detail cut lily and butterflies from another freebie page I've had for some time. I decided to use a kraft card base, and as I positioned the tag on the card, I added a gold glitter circle and a tiny scrap of fabric from the scrap pile.
As I was playing around with pieces from my pile to decide how to finish the card, I tried this top hat man that had also been included with an order ... I thought the contrast in size was fun. Is the many really small ... or the lily extremely big. You decide.
The final touch was a snip of leftover AA&LL Create Poets washi tape I had attached to the brim of the box together with a leftover sticker sentiment.
I love the final whimsical design and how I pushed me out of my box to use some of these saved items from my studio table. We hope you'll have the same fun and join us.
