Guitar Birthday

Darkroom Door is having a WCMD giveaway, so I wanted to make sure I found time to join ... love their stamps.

I combined their guitary photo stamp (in Burnt Sienna Chalk Ink) with papers from Echo Park's Reflections Fall Collection.  

The layout is from Feeling Sketch.  With the large size of my stamp, I went with smalle cork arrow stickers at the botom and added on at the top for a bit of balance.  The sentiments stickers.  I sort-of went with the optional challenge of using 2 colors - mustard & burnt sienna - with some neutral grey & tan.

Rockin' Father's Day

I'm working on Father's Day cards this weekend, and I knew I wanted to make some with this fabulous Darkroom Door Guitar.  I liked this week's Freshly Made Sketch so much, I used it again for my layout.

I stamped the guitar on some texty designer paper that coordinated with these summery designs.  I added a row of Washi Tape along the right side for the Masculine Challenge at Love My Tapes & finished with a Father's Day sentiment attached with foam tape.

Psychedelic Moxie Fab

For some reason the target image for this week's Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger reminded me of the psychedelic tie-dyed images of the 60's (ala Janis Joplin) ... so that's what I went with for my design.

I started with white cardstock & my Studio Calico Circle Graph Mask.  I posited the stencil and sponged fully around with orange ink.  Next I repositioned the stencil several more times using blue & purple (pulling colors from the target image), but not overlapping the sponging.

I finished by stamping my Guitar image from Darkroom Door in Artprint Brown ink.  The sentiment from Paper Source was stamped in the same brown ink on a scrap of the blue sponged paper ... Peace, Joy, Love ... Groovy.
