The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is V is for Vibrant.

I knew I wanted to use Rina K's Neon Inks, so the Color Palette at Color Throwdown was perfection.

I also decided to incorporate Gina K. Designs Monthly Mix Challenge to make a card with a Shaped Border using Die Cuts.

I decided to use Rina K.'s Sweet Stuff Stamps & Die Cuts for some Neon Ice Cream Cones. I also stamped & Die Cut the sentiment from Gina K. Designs Enjoyable Greetings.

As I stamped these elements, I reminisced about favorite Ice Cream Memories. First-up was my Papa taking us to the Diary Mart for afternoon treats and letting us get whatever we wanted. I always chose the Ice Cream Cone that had Two openings for Ice Cream with a swirled column of Chocolate on one side and Vanilla on the other. Then there was making homemade vanilla ice cream with my Granddad ... you always felt so grown-up when you got to crank the handle (although I now realize he was grateful for the free labor) and eating it with lots of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup (yes, the vanilla/chocolate combo is strong for me). Lastly I remembered my Mom stopping at the Diary Queen after school for a special treat (mine was usually a Banana Split if we were going big ... and a Dilly Bar otherwise) ... lots of great ice cream memories for this girl.

Next-up was the Die Cut Border for my card base. I die cut Gina K. Designs Fancy Border Die from the front of my card and then re-attached it to form the Shaped Border. I attached the blue strip to the inside back of the card for contrast and then added strips of the green and orange before finishing with some alternating bling.
Since I didn't have any sufficiently snarky Gina K. stamps, I added a sticker sentiment to go with my double ice cream cone design.
