Fern Pear Birthday

It's time for another gorgeous Cardabilities Sketch.  

The Design Team is using stamps donated by Chapel Road Artstamps in our design.  My stamp set is called Fern Pear.  I used the smallest pear of the set as the focal image for a birthday card design.

Papers are from Basic Grey's Lucille Collection.  I stamped the vined pear four times down the right side of the card for a bit more flourish.  I finished with an SRM Happy Sticker Sentiment, Die Cut Memory Box Elegant Scrollwork and some sparkling sequins.

Fruit of Yon Celestial Tree

This is my first Sketch Challenge as a designer for Cardabilities ... to me, Karan's Sketches are like tiny little works of art.

The Design Team also received stamps from Chapel Road ArtStamps (a Division of Class Act Inc.) to use in our designs.  The set I used in my design is called Fern Pear.

I stamped my pears using a combination of Pistachio Memento Ink and Delicata Golden Glitz Pigment Ink.  The background is a brushed god metallic cardstock.  I finished with punched leaves a combination of golden sequins for a bit of guilded pear sparkle.

 

Be Mine

I'm excited that I will be joining the Cardabilities design team beginning in February.

So to celebrate, I made a card using the current Cardabilities Sketch ... her sketches are so pretty, they are like their own little works of art.

I decided to make a valentine card filled with flowers.  The ivory background was stamped using Hero Arts Grid Pattern using grey and pink inks.

I finished with a ticket sentiment and a scattering of gray pearls.  I'm also joining the All About the Love Challenge at My Time to Craft.
