Today's card is inspired by the Poppy Stamps Love Me Do Challenge.
It features Heart Confetti Collage from Poppy Stamps die cut from a Purple Shimmer Card Base.
I backed the die cut with silver glitter paper. The sentiment is from Avery Elle Simple Sentiments stamped on a lighter purple cardstock and attached with foam tape.
I took some inspiration from the Brown Sugar Challenge where it's Love or Valentine's Day.

The current Essentials by Ellen Mix-It-Up Challenge is with Avery Elle. My process is to pull out all of my products from both companies and spread them out on my studio table to see what sparks my inspiration.
When I saw Avery Elle's Made with Love set (which has apparently been discontinued since it's neither in the Ellen or Avery Elle Stores) next to the Essentials by Ellen Stitches Cover Plate, they looked like a match made in crafty heaven.
I stamped & embossed using a scrap of purple ombre designer paper in my scrap bin. I added a wrap of grey cord, since it is the closest to yarn that I had in my stash. I love the texture of the embossing plate on the background.

My brothers loved playing video games when they were young ... and today they enjoy playing them with their children ... so the Video Game Brads were perfect for a Father's Day Card.
The Mix-It-Up Challenge at Ellen Hutson this month features one of my favorites ... Avery Elle.
I started with one of my favorite sentiments from Avery Elle Cake & Candles (because I do love to celebrate any day with cake).
I used this week's Match the Sketch and Essentials by Ellen Warm Fuzzies Sentiment & Bear Wear Party Hat & Cupcake.
The colors & Inspiration for my design came from the photos at The Heart Desires (do you see the subtle snowflake paper behind the sentiment). I also thought some of the stitches from Essentials by Ellen Stitches Cover Plate looked like snowflakes as well. I love how the gold pops with the blues.
We're still having fun with RED at Jingle Belles ... and no one wears red better than the jolly old man himself ... Santa Claus.
Avery Elle's Oh What Fun Santa is one of my favorite. I colored him with markers to coordinate with my designer papers using this week's Sketch Saturday layout.
I finished with some falling sequin snow.
This week at Jingle Belles we're celebrating Jolly Old St. Nick (aka Santa Claus) or any other denizens of the North Pole. I couldn't resist breaking out my favorite Jolly Santa Claus from Avery Elle.
I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers and then added some white sequin snow. The sketch is this week's Retro Sketch.
This is one of the oldest stamps in my collection (Stampington & Company from 1997) ... and I still love it. I stamped it in white ink on watercolor paper and clear-embossed.
Next I added two shades of blue Color Burst powders onto wet watercolor paper with just a little additional water spray, so it stayed a bit powdery-looking on the paper. I wanted the sprays of inky powder to look like sprays of snow flying into the air. The colors are perfect for the color challenge at Just Us Girls.
I finished with a Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside die cut from white cardstock, which has a faux stitching border. Sentiment is from Avery Elle Simply Said.

I'm also celebrating someone a very special person together with Stamping Our Stash where we're making monochromatic gah-Pink Cards to celebrate the life of Leslie Hanna. Leslie always hated when we had our pink challenge at Jingle Belles because it was her least favorite color ... yet she always pushed through and made something truly Leslie like this (gah) Pink creation. I really appreciate June's thoughtful post.

We're starting the new year with a bang at Jingle Belles celebrating by making a card using something brand spanking new and something (or in my case somethings) old from your stash.
I got this great new Avery Elle Oh What Fun Santa for Christmas (isn't he awesome).
It's perfect for joining the Avery Elle Winter Challenge.
I colored him with Spectrum Noir markers before adding lots of vintage items from my stash including two Easter Bunnies who crashed the Christmas Party.

The inspiration picture at Just Us Girls reminded me of an un-used piece of Color Burst Watercolor Paper that I had created on my visit to Lauren's house.
This one was stenciled with molding paste using a Hexagon Stencil.
I added more Hexagons using a punch and the layout from Match the Sketch.
The great sentiment is from Avery Elle Cake & Candles ... and the little wooden fox looked like this card should be his home.
