It's time again for the GelliArts #abcprintingchallenge. I just love gelliprinting a little every day.
To start, I went through and organized my stencils a bit, looking for ones I could possibly use for future challenges. I started by finding some Animals in my stash. I chose this Halloween Cat from very long-ago Tim Holtz Masks (probably the first masks I ever purchased), and the Cat had never been used. I probably should have printed a base color first, but I ended-up liking him in white.
For Day 2, B is for Birds, I chose another very old product from my stash - a 2012 DreamWeavers Metal Stencil Open Owl. In this case, the second ghost print was my favorite (the first print is on the right).
For Day 3 C is for Cards, I chose some playing cards from my stash (a plain one is on the left) and chose to print on the backs of them. It was fun thinking about printing on that smaller palette.
Day 4, D is for Denim, I sacrificed one of my pairs of thrift store denim shorts from the summer. I'll keep them in my printing tools stash for future prints, but today I chose to print with the pocket using two contrasting shades of blue paint.
Day 5 is E is for Embossing Folder. I used some metallic paints and two different embossing folders for some masculine prints.
Day 6 is F for Favorite Color (or in my case Favorite Colors). I started with just orange, but had to add in some hot pink to really capture my favorites.
And lastly for this week, Day 7 is G is for Gold. I have sort of compulsion to collection metallic paints, so I used three different metallic gold paints (and some cardboard for patterns) for my two gold prints.
Hope you enjoyed walking with me through another week of gelliprinting.
