Earth Day Caffeinated Christmas

We're still celebrating Earth Day at Jingle Belles by making holiday card using recycled items.

 

 

My card started with one of these painted rainbow backgrounds which were the Stencil packaging for Vicki Boutin Mixed Media Stencils.  I die cut one of them with a large tag die.

Next I pieced together the Java Cup Gift Card Holder from Art Impressions using three other pieces of recycled packaging (can you see the swirls on the coffee cup from Tim Holtz packaging).  I smeared on a bit of marker on the lid, so the embossed areas showed-up a bit more.

 

 

I finished my tag with some Doodlebug Design Candy Lane Puffy Christmas Stickers.  The sentiment is from STAMPlorations Caffeinated Christmas designed by my uber-talented friend Becca Cruger.

I finished with a perfect rainbow paper from Simple Stories on my card base.
