There is another monthlong gelliprinting challenge on Instagram for the month of March ... and even though I likely have more prints than I will ever use, I'm still joining the fun.
Day 1 was cardboard. I peeled back a layer of the cardboard and used it both vertically & horizontally with one of my favorite color combinations - hot pink & vibrant orange.
Day 2 was Landscape. I made my second-ever landscape print using torn copy paper, which looks a lot like my first one, but I'm okay with that. I used a circle mask on my gelliplate to create the sun.
Day three was stencils. I used an unidentified floral stencil from my stash, and flipped it over to print the second time, which gave an interesting effect.
Day 4 is Metallics. I usually reach for gold, but today I grabbed two shades of Silver paint with the AALL & Create Dotty Stencil.
I have so much fun making a little bit of art every day.
