The current Lawnfawnatics Challenge is Lots of Heart - to make a card featuring lots of hearts. I decided it was the perfect inspiration I needed to make a card requested by a friend.
I started by using all of the Hearts from the Lawn Fawn Just Stitching Hearts on a red gellipress print I made with red paint (with a touch of silver).
Next I used a small ink blender to add some of the new Scorched Timber Distress Ink to bring out the stitching. I die cut my hearts using the largest Lawn Fawn Stitched Square Stackables die and attached it to a older piece of hoarded Authentique texty designer paper.
Next I stamped the row of hearts from Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Hearts onto a scrap of the same Gelliprint (without the Scorched Timber) using Black StazOn Ink with clear embossing powder before cutting with the coordinating hearts die. I also stamped two of the sentiments from the same set with red ink on white cardstock. To add the Daddy, I used Lawn Fawn Claire's ABCs.
I finished by covering the smallest stitched heart with a very old layered felt heart from my stash and added a tiny conversation heart sticker too.
this is so fun! i love the texture of those stacked hearts! and the color is so bright and full of love! thank you for playing along with the Lawn Fawnatics Challenge! :D
