For Day 4 in New York City, Lauren and I headed to free museum day at the Poster House (which has now been added to the list of new favorites). It was so fun thinking about the colors and fonts used in the mostly screen printed vintage designs.
We started with the We Tried to Warn You! - posters about the Environmental Crisis.
Next-up was the Art Deco Exhibit. Lauren and I love going to see art together, because it's so fun being with someone who thinks about what they like about a piece and how it might inspire our art.
The way they hung the art at Poster House with designs on the walls to frame them and colored walls was so fun.
So many inspiring designs.
After our morning at the museum, we got on the train and headed to Lauren's house to spend a few days making art. Lauren always has crocheting-on-the-go.
I went with my annual Black and White Cookie from Zaro's.
The perfect day to end our time in New York City ... until next year.
