Oh Christmas Tree

Oh Christmas Tree is the next prompt at Jingle Belles.  We're asking you to create a card featuring a Christmas Tree or Pine Branches.

I decided to revisit a Christmas Tree design I first made in 2008.  I cut four rectangles from green pieces of designer paper in the BasicGrey Evergreen Collection to create my wonky Christmas Tree.  Together with my tree trunk cut from some hot chocolate designer paper, I attached it to a red card base covered with tiny Christmas trees.

I decorated my tree with gold metallic embellishments and a gold glitter star on top.  The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp Reverse Sentiment Strips - Christmas.
