July was the end of #dyicad2023 on Instagram. Here are my final index cards.
For day 57 Bird, I returned to my collection of vintage stamps (that used to be sent out to raise money for all sorts of organizations, but these are from the National Wildlife Federation). My dear dear mother-in-law (who loved birds) gifted me with a collection. My base is a super-dark purple GelliArts print that I had no idea what I was going to do with.
Day 58's Illustration took me back to one of my children's dictionary's for a mid-century style illustration. I framed it with a gelliprint roll-off sheet that Lauren told me looks a bit Monet-ish, and I have to agree.
For Peace on day 59, I returned to another trash collage, since creating them has been my most peaceful experience of ICAD 2023. The background is my attempt to print with ink on a scrap of handmade paper that was leftover on my table from my Jingle Belles card.
Day 60 I embossed a gelliprint with a vintage Filigree Embossing folder and added more ink to bring out the texture and design.
And finally Day 61. I have had these tile stickers from The Dollar Tree that I picked-up on a trip with my Sister for years never quite deciding what to do with them. They were an absolutely perfect way to celebrate the final day of #dyicad2023 (and get excited about seeing my Sister in a few weeks). I chose another gelliprint for the base.
Thanks for following along with my #dyicad fun for 2023.
