Our theme at Jingle Belles this week is Not a Creature Was Stirring, which means breaking out the Christmas Creatures (aka Animals) ... it could be a sweet little sheep, a plucky little duck, or perhaps a rowdy reindeer … okay, or even a monster or a Yeti if you're in a Halloween mood and want to stretch the theme.
You know I'm a theme-stretcher who always needs at least one Yeti holiday card in my stash, so this was the perfect opportunity to break out the classic Yeti from Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer that I trimmed from wrapping paper that features all of the characters from that animated show (yes, I did buy the wrapping paper specifically to make cards).
I added a couple of frames, and then I added tiny gems to accent the stars in the sky. To pull in the red & white from the image, I framed the Yeti with one of my Gel Press prints.
I finished with a sentiment from My Favorite Things Beast Friends ... love it!
And for a bit more fun, we're giving away the Unity Stamp Company Say It Big Holiday Coordinating Die Set to one lucky participant, so come join us.
I’m also joining Jen Skurkus’ Get Cracking on Christmas. #getcrackingonchristmas
