If you look around my world, you won't see a lot of pastels. I'm a full on bright color girl, so I always love the challenge of creating in a color palette I usually don't embrace like these sweet pastels at Sunday Stamps Challenge.
I found scraps of cardstock in all five colors and cut them into 1/2 strips for a mini-slimline design.
I die cut some Alexandra Renke Greenery & Blooms and then tucked in one of the Taylored Expressions Subtle Sprigs for a bit more fill & dimension.
I'm also joining the April Showers Challenge at The Paper Players.
I finished with a Taylored Expression Simple Strips - Friendship.
Hah, a perfect take on our colors - make a background! I'm with you in that pastels aren't my usual wheelhouse, but this slimline is awesome! Love those pretty stems, too! Thanks so much for playing at Sunday Stamps!

I love the idea of using the background strips to incorporate your pastels Stef - they showcase the white diecuts beautifully! I'm with you - pastels are not usually my thing, but I enjoyed this challenge too - sometimes we all need to step out of our comfort zone for a while! Thanks for playing along with us over at The Paper Players this week!
