I don't know about you, but I've really been missing my far away friends this week. Normally I have lots of trips planned to look forward to, but instead I'm doing virtual events (which I certainly appreciate, but they're just not the same).
So to honor those feelings, I made a card for the #staycraftywithhero February Anything Goes Challenge.
I stamped the buildings from Hero Arts Wherever You Go in grey ink on a speckled gray cardstock (what can I say, the sky is gray and snowy here today).
Next I die cut the Hero Arts Neighborhood Houses Dies in Purple, Lime and Blue and layered them in the foreground with a bit of inking for contrast that I promise doesn't look that blotchy in person.
The sentiment from Hero Arts Wherever You Go was stamped in coordinating purple ink. I finished with gold & silver glitter pen on the sun, clouds and bits of the stamped buildings to brighten-up the grey.
With my neighborhood of happy houses, I'm also joining the Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies Challenge.
Such a happy card you made, Stephanie! I am looking at a gray sky also (with snow!) so I love your cheerful village. Thank you for playing with us at the HLS Die Challenge and hope you can join in again soon.
