I love the simplicity of the Inspiration Photo at The Time Out Challenge.
I kept my card equally simple with Woodgrain paper, a doily, a 3-D plant sticker and sentiment from the Bonus Stamp Set from Stamp Joy - Full of Flowers - Singles (I just love that sentiment).
We're still enjoying our annual Creature Feature at Jingle Belles ... this week I decided to feature a fun little trio of Penguins from Impression Obsession. I stamped them in black and then used the wonderful detail nibs of my Graph' It Alcohol Markers to color their winter wear.
The sentiment is a simple die cut from Impression Obsession Christmas Simple Stitched Words. I finished with a scattering of blue & purple sequins.

When I saw the How to Catch a Star book cover at The Library Challenge, I immediately knew what I wanted to make.
I die cut the Waffle Flower Stars Pattern Background from Navy Cardstock and cut it into three pieces. Then I spent a while hunting for some 3-D stickers that I knew I had in my stash (from The Dollar Tree I believe). While I was hunting I found some red Doodlebug stars that were also perfect to add a bit more red from the book cover.
I finished with a simple sticker sentiment attached with foam tape.
The layout is the Sketch Challenge from The Paper Players.
I had also intended for my card to be for the AAA Cards CAS Challenge, but decided it didn't meet the Maxi White Space requirement, so I used the punched stars to make a second super-CAS design.
Die Cuts, sticker sentiment, strip of cardstock and foam tape. Oh to be able to sleep under the stars instead of shivering under my flannel sheets.
The current Facebook Challenge for Waffle Flower is to Everything Orange. Since Orange is my favorite color, I had fun combining a number of Waffle Flower Products and Orange Designer Papers from my stash.
I started by die-cutting the Waffle Flower Be a Cat Die from three different colors of orange cardstock. Then I paper pieced the whiskers, head, nose & ears. I decided to use some orange eyeball stickers from my stash because I loved the eye-lashes. I added a bow tie from the Waffle Flower Be Accessories Dies.
My layout is this week's Mojo Monday Sketch. Rather than the horizontal piece across the bottom, I had my Kitty hold a sentiment from the Waffle Flower Lacy Flower Stamp Set.
I had a few painted Waffle Flower Greenery die cut leaves left-over from a prior project, so I added them together with a fussy cut bloom from Waffle Flower Lacy Flower set.
I'm also joining the Simon Says Stamp Inspired by a Movie Challenge ... because you know my favorite Orange Cat?
He sure looks like he will make someone smile when he arrives through the mail.
I discovered a new Challenge Blog - Let's Squash It! - an Embossing Folder Challenge. The first Challenge is to use one that is both Geometric & Metallic.
I had lots of choices, but settled on the We R Memory Keepers Hexagon Gemstone Embossing Folder with a Mossy Green/Gold Metallic paper. I mounted it on a mossy green card base.
I die cut My Favorite Things Wild Greenery Die-Namics from a Distress Oxide Background in my stash and positioned them inside the MFT Single Stitched Line Tag-Corner Rectangle Frame cut from a matte gold cardstock.
Sentiment is from My Favorite Things Essentials Sentiments ... and I finished with a scattering of tiny golden gems.
This morning's card was inspired by the Just Add Ink Just Choose Two Challenge.
I chose to combine Sequins with Metallic Foil together with the Sketch Saturday Layout. My background is Gina K. Designs Dazzling Orange Foil with her Holiday Foil Mates ... and there is Gold Foil in my alcohol inked rectangles in the sketch. I added a scattering of orange sequins.
The leaf is a 3-D sticker and the stamped sentiment is from Essentials by Ellen You Should Know.
And a bonus card inspired by my childhood memories of the Undertaker roaming through the grounds at Silver Dollar City when I was a kid measuring us for his coffin.
The skeleton is from vintage Cosmo Cricket and the sentiment is pure Cathy Zielske Hollaween for Simon Says Stamp.
This afternoon I enjoyed another virtual card-making session with friends ... I am so very grateful for these meetings across the miles.
The first card I made was for this week's CAS(e) this Sketch! Challenge.
I flipped the sketch on it's side and used several vintage stamps for the Retro Rubber Challenge to use only Orange, Black and White.
The pumpkin is from Cosmo Cricket Haunted (from 2011) with some fun eyeball stickers. I circled the pumpkin with a vintage Spider Stamp from Inkadinkado that's likely just as old.

The current #staycraftywithHero Challenge is to create a Slimline Holiday card.
I decided to combine it with the Challenge at A Blog Named Hero to Use a See-Through Element.
I got some new Maribu Alcohol Inks in the mail today, so I decided to use them on a piece of pearlescent Vellum to create a See-Through background for my Slimline Card. It's a bit hard to see but after inking the background with a combination of Arctic & Apple Ink, I used more Apple ink through the Hero Arts Every Which Way Stencil.
I used fun Retro stamps & dies from Hero Arts Meowy Christmas. I added some marker coloring to the pile of gifts, embossed the silver star for the top of the tree ... and decorated my tree with four sizes of turquoise gems.
I love how full my box of holiday cards is already.
This week is our annual Creature Feature at Jingle Belles ... so break out the animals for your holiday cards. It could be a sweet little sheep, a cuddly puppy, or perhaps a Reindeer … okay, or even a monster or a Yeti if you're in a Halloween mood and want to stretch the theme a bit (which you know we usually do).

After positioning all the stickers, I decided the little guy on the left in his bright blue scarf was trying to steal the show, so I highlighted him with a red punched circle frame and a tiny little vintage sentiment (Stampin' Up 2008). I finished by filling in some of the blank space with red foam dot stickers.
