Today's Stay Crafty with Hero Arts Challenge theme is creating with Critters #staycraftywithhero.
If you've been around here long, you know I"m not a huge critter stamper (mostly because I feel like they require coloring, which I usually don't have the patience to do) ... but today I've got nothing but time, so why not color.
The first critters are the gold fish from Hero Arts Fishy Stamp & Cut ... it was the perfect opportunity to try out the new Graph'It Markers I recently purchased. I was so excited when I saw they had a tiny coloring nib, I had to get them all (and they come in their own storage container, which is super-awesome). The tiny nibs were so perfect for coloring and shading those little gold fish.
I stamped the Hero Arts Wallpaper Pattern Bold Print along the bottom because I thought it looked a bit like the greenery in my fish bowl. I finished with a few sequin "rocks" along the bottom of my fish bowl.
The next critter in today's cardmaking is the fun little pig from Hero Arts Hay Party Animals. I used the Hero Arts Paper Sample Pack for my card fronts.
The bottom of this card is the Hero Arts Tiny Star Background. On both cards I added some Love from Lizi border Peel-Off Stickers along the bottom (love those) ... the pink glittery ones are super-fun for this cute little piggy.
This cute little Piggy is also linking-up at the Cute Challenge at A Blog Named Hero.
I had a ton of fun crafting with critters today (it didn't hurt that I did it while on a crafty call with Lauren ... so sad we haven't been able to craft in person this year, but grateful for video calls).
Two darling critter cards, Steph! Especially love your fishies in their bowl but that pig made me smile too!!
