The theme at Shopping Our Stash is UFOs (Unfinished Objects) ... to use those unfinished objects and finally turn them into finished cards. The frames from these Alcohol Ink cards were too pretty to throw away, so I attached them card bases and left them in the UFO pile. For this one I inlaid a die cut dictionary page.
When I saw this stunning card by SkyPaperScissors, I went on a hunt for the AlteNew Dog Rose Panels. They arrived this week, so tonight I decided to give them a try. I die cut them from white cardstock and layered them together. I took a scrap of yellow cardstock and inked it with coral and red distress inks that coordinated with my UFO card base.
I finished with a sentiment from AlteNew Sentiments and Quotes. I can't wait to play with these dies and other colors.
I'm also joining the Little Red Wagon Sunshine Challenge which is to use the Sun or Bright Yellow in your card ... as long as it makes you happy ... and this yellow card makes me happy indeed.
Fantastic card! I have Die envy! lol! Thanks for sharing with us at Little Red wagon.

i think i have die envy too lol... also need to play with myu AI's and maybe even some foil bc that is such a dramatic and beautiful look! i lthe that you filled some of the spaces with dictionary paper made some solid orange to ground the sentiment. this is perfection! so excited it's in the SOS ufo gallery! ♥

Outstanding use of UFOs. I love that frame and the decision to layer it onto a book page was genius! Very bold and beautiful result. Thanks for sharing with us at Shopping Our Stash!
