Welcome to Day three of my week of Growing in Unity (Day 1 & Day 2 are here) ... remember, leave a comment on each post for a chance to win one of two grab bags of Unity Stamp Company red rubber stamps.
Do you have certain types of stamps that you tend to buy, no matter how many of them you already have? One of those for me are Beverage Stamps (I love an ice cold drink). As I went through my Unity Stamp Company inventory, I realized quite a few in that category are my favorites, so I'm sharing those with you today ... come join me for a drink.
Did you see that Unity has new Stencils? My first card features their Heart Confetti Stencil with Snowdrop White Paper Glaze on Red Glitter Cardstock.
The Beer glasses and sentiment are both from Unity Stamp Company Wish You Were Beer ... the perfect size for coloring with my Spectrum Noir Markers. We live within one mile of four local Micro-Breweries, so my husband give this card the thumbs-up.
It's Stencil Fun at the Simon Says Stamp Challenge, so I'm linking-up there too.
Cards 4 Guyz is things that start with F - I'm linking-up this Beer Foam.
Maybe your drink of choice is a nice glass of Wine ... Unity has stamps for that too. This card combines Unity Stamp Company Wine & Friends with Enjoy (all kinds of wine).
I added some golden bling and Crystalline Drops to the wine glasses ... I always use Mulled Wine Ink with these stamps
My final card features my most used Unity drink stamp set - A Round of Cocktails. I love the size and how the text is included with the images. It's an Anything Goes Challenge at Addicted to Stamping and More.
The beer bottle is so fun to stamp. I love to combine different inks to get a cool glass effect. For this result, I stamped multiple times alternating Orange Peel and Kraft Ink to get the hue I wanted ... then I clear embossed multiple times to get a glassy effect on the paper (just pour on your next layer of powder while it's still a bit molten).
Remember ... Halloween is the best time to get Orange and Purple designer papers (not sure why they are hard to find other times of the year) ... and patterns like this one are perfect all year long (orange is one of my favorite colors). I added an enamel dot to embellish the circle emblem on the bottle.
Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is all about B is for Booze, so I'm linking-up.
Hope you had fun sharing a drink with me today. Remember ... leave a comment on each post this week for a chance to win.
Cheers! Great way to use these stamps. My “have to have stamps” seem to be dragons, lol.
