Lauren and I have spent the weekend Gel Printing pretty much anything we could get our hands on. I thought one of my prints would be perfectg for the Make Your Own Background Challenge at the AllSorts Challenge Blog. I made this background from a single pull using a 5x7 Gelli Plate (sometimes you get lucky like that).
The background was made with the cool Texture Plate from Carabelle Studios called Jamboree.
I put a tag together for the TGIF Project Challenge - Make a Tag and added it to my card using the Sketch from Try Stampin' - or Not - on Tuesday.
I did some *shopping* in Lauren's stash and found some stickers to create my tag (always fun to look through someone else's studio) ... and a quick card was done. Simple Ordinary Moments pretty much summed up the joy of being able to craft in person with your crafty besty.
A great Gelli Plate background, always such fun as no two are the same, many thanks for sharing and joining in at Allsorts challenge this week.

Stef, I've been eyeing some of the cool things you can do with gel, but haven't taken the plunge yet. Love what you created and how your background repeats the flower-like pattern to complement the floral stickers you used. Thank you for sharing with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday! -Donna
