When I saw the current Library Challenge was inspired by Mo Willems, I knew I had to join the fun. You see, Lauren and I went to the Mo Willems Exhibit several years ago and got to see his creative process ... and yes, I got to drive the bus.
Here is the book to inspire my card design.
I started with the peach background and went searching through my stamps for a bird that was close to the Pigeon ... I found it in My Favorite Things Mod Birds, which I stamped & die cut from light blue paper. Since Lauren & I saw Mo's exhibit in NYC ... and since I usually think of buses in the city, I used the MFT City Block Die-Namic for my design base, adding a strip of striped washi tape along the bottom.
The sentiment is from My Favorite Things Sassy Pants Best Friends (an awesome set).
This is so adorable! Love the big bus too! cute

I picked the right book!! I'm so delighted it has personal connections for you - although I have to admit I've always assumed Mo Willems was a woman - dunno why! Your card is awesome - I love how you matched up the colours and added the great sentiment. Thanks for joining The Library.
