This week at Jingle Belles we're taking our inspiration from this gorgeous Rustic Glam Fireside Holiday Scene.
My eyes were initially drawn to the texture of that gorgeous Sisal Rug, so that's where I started with a layer of DCWV Burlap Paper. Then I used the sketch only from the Fusion Card Challenge to build the rest of my design.
For the horizontal element I used a piece of vintage sheet music of The Little Drummer Boy. Next I used Gina K. Designs Decorative Tag die from a piece of Aspen Bark packaging from some Basic Grey embellishments (because the tag shape reminded me of the shape of the mirror on the mantle).
I layered on some vintage ephemera that contained pictures of Christmas Trees and then added a Cork Sticker sentiment to ground them. I finished with a wrap of gold ribbon to bring in the sparkle from the picture and an Alexandra Renke Clip Die that was leftover from this card.
It's also the 400th challenge and Christmas in July at Shopping Our Stash.

Awesome use of the burlap paper and a fabulous take on the sketch not to mention all the elements taken from the inspiration picture.
