I fell in love with the new Mid-Century Modern stamps released last week by Uniko ... so of course, since I was shopping across the pond, I had to add a few more pretties to my order.
For today's card, inspired by these gorgeous Peonies at the SplitcoastStampers Inspiration Challenge, I used that little floral beauty peeking out in the center - Large Background Sketched Foliage.
I stamped it using my MISTI in pink ink on a lighter pink piece of cardstock. Then I positioned it on a wood grain paper background inspired by the photo.
I added a die cut frame I had laying out on my studio table from a prior project, and then positioned some Prima flowers and leaves around the frame inspired by the Sketch at Feeling Sketchy.
I finished with a strip sentiment from Uniko's Organic Wishes. I used my Cut-Align to get the perfect strip sentiment (I love that it makes it easy to get the exact same border on each side of the text.)
I attached the sentiment with foam tape across my frame.
My paper flowers were also inspired by this week's TGIF Challenge.
Beautiful!!! The combination of florals with the wood grain background is stunning, and your paper flowers are so pretty! Thank you for joining TGIF Challenges this week.
