I'm so glad Julee the sketch-master is back with her Mojo Monday Sketches. This is number 514 and I've been playing along since the very beginning.
My Birthday Card stash is depleted, so I went searching for a circular sentiment ... and I settled on a vintage wood block stamp from Mason Row.
I started with a female version of the design with lots of pinks.
Then I switched to neutral tones and a cork mat for a more masculine version of the same design. Since my cork was smaller than my doily, I widened the paper strips slightly to balance out the pieces of the design.
I'm also linking-up at the Retro Rubber Challenge since I'm guessing this stamp is at least three years old ... can't remember the last time I bought a wood mounted stamp.
Thanks again Julee for another great layout.
Hi there!! Fabulous cards Stephanie, my favorite is your entry onto our RETRO RUBBER challenge, love the sepia colors on it and that cork "doily" is just perfect to frame the darling birthday cake.
Thank you for playing at RETRO RUBBER, hope you play again soon.
Hugs.
