This morning's SplitcoastStampers Inspiration Challenge comes from the archives of the Victoria & Albert Museum.
I chose this gorgeous Belle Epoque floral fabric to inspire my design.
I thought it would be cool to die cut my AlteNew Doodled Lace Cover Die from Glitter Paper, not realizing that all of the lovely stitching detail would get lost in the glitter. So I die cut a second plate from the vibrant fuchsia hue from the fabric and layered them to mimic the outline effect of the floral pattern.
I pulled out the darker purple from the fabric design for my sentiment from AlteNew Label Love. I used my My Sweet Petunia Cut-Align to perfectly trim the borders.
I also took my gorgeous floral inspiration from the March AlteNew Inspiration Challenge ... I am so ready to see some green and the colors of blooms ... everything is still snow-covered and dingy in Iowa.
So lovely!! I like the little piece of sparkle peeking out below the pink. So beautiful!!
