I have always loved trampolines. My Dad used to take us to a trampoline park where you could rent your own trampoline that was even with the ground and jump, and jump, and jump ... which was much safer for a klutz like me (and then we would go drive the go carts ... loved them both). My friend LeAnn had a trampoline in her back yard ... I was so jealous and loved getting to spend the night at her house. I just love that feeling of freedom when you're flying through the air. And ... did you know ... trampolines were actually invented in Iowa (where I live).
The theme at Simon Says Stamp is CUTE ... and seriously, what is cuter than Gnomes on a Trampoline.
I stamped my Rubber Baby Buggy Bumpers Trampoline on my base and then stamped my Stampotique 3 Dwarfy Gnomes on white cardstock and clear embossed (which I think makes it easier to detail cut outside the lines).
I stamped the Gnomes a second time on a piece of Purple Color Burst painted cardstock and detail-cut their clothes & hat, so I could paper piece their outfit. I used 2 Spectrum Noir Grey Markers to color their beards, hair and eye brows.
I added them to my card base with foam tape for a bit of *flying through the air* dimension and finished with an A Muse Sentiment and a sprinkling of sequins.
This is SO FUN!! I love the little gnomes and the purple painting!! I need to try this technique.
