Retro Rubber Challenge and Try Stampin' on Tuesday are joining-up for a Sketch Challenge.
Since my Alterna-Studio is literally overflowing with Retro Rubber, I had fun choosing stamps for my design (my friend introduced me to stamping almost 20 years ago, but she has been doing it much longer). I started with a vintage image from Stampers Anonymous that I am guessing is at least 10 years old. They had a variety of letters in this series.
Then I added a Happy Birthday stamp that is dated 1986 (I'm guessing I win the oldest stamp in this Challenge). I finished with a Rub-on of wonky typed letters.
oh wow those are some old stamps. love the masculine feel of the card. well done. thanks for joining us at TSOT!

Great card, Stef! It definitely has a masculine feel with the colors and imagery. Guy cards can sometimes be so hard to come up with that don't have fish or tools on them!!! Thank you for sharing your treasured older stamps with us at Try Stampin' on Tuesday! -Donna

I LOVE your giant letter and it's got the added plus of being totally retro! I like the way you've textured your banners (or chosen textured paper). Very stylish and masculine. Thank you for joining us at Retro Rubber Challenge again.

LOVE this...sort of reminds me of a Tim Holtz look! I love the neutral colors, which really makes that "A" stand out, but also makes it great for a masculine card! The ribbon treatment is great too! SO happy that you shared this with us at Retro Rubber this week!
