It's been three weeks since we woke-up to find several inches of water in our entire first floor due to a broken pipe in the adjacent building trash room ... good news is that the movers are finally coming Wednesday to remove everything from the first floor (aka our living room, kitchen, bedroom & my entire studio) and then the repairs will begin.
So I will continue to create in my guest studio at my friend's house ... I am so grateful to have an alternate space, but I can tell you my creativity is certainly challenged. I have an idea where I want to use something ... then I realize I don't have it ... or if I do have it, I can't find it. Also, I have to squeeze lots of creating into a smaller time frame on the weekends, since it's just not practical to create a little each evening. I just keep reminding myself that this too shall pass.
Today's challenge was to create a CAS Monochromatic Pink card for both the Impression Obsession Pink Challenge and the CAS Monochromatic Challenge at The Paper Players. In this case my white space is an embellishment-free pink ombre card base.
I stamped the Impression Obsession You Are Seriously Wonderful sentiment and the birthday cake from the Impression Obsession Birthday Set ... both ink the same Catherine Pooler Be Mine ink. I attached my panel with foam tape. I'm so grateful for tools like my MISTI that make creating anywhere so much easier.
Oh, no...I am so sorry for what you are going through. What a mess! Know that I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything will be fixed and cleaned up as quickly as possible. Your card is Clean and Simple...and monochromatic...perfection! I'm so happy you have a space in which you can still create. Thank you for sharing with The Paper Players!
