Still struggling to create the way I want without my own studio space (and my own papers) ... but I'm pushing through and creating anyway ... because making art that's not your favorite, is still better than making no art. That's my sermon for today ... go forth and create.
This card started with the Technique Junkies Duty of Love Stamp and since it sort of looked like a child's drawing, I used the side of my pencil lead and did some rough coloring of the puppies using an eraser to blend. I'm linking-up at the Love Your Pet Challenge at Sweet Stampin' Challenges.
The layout is this week's Mojo Monday Sketch, so I had to figure out what to do for the two word boxes.I looked through my Technique Junkies stash to find my words ... and I found them in part of the sentiment on the Old Friends Stamp.
I used my new My Sweet Petunia Cut-Align to cut out the words ... and if you don't have it already, you're going to want us ... so use my code TJ10Stephanie for 10% off.
I love how their are 1/6" grids on one side of the cutting line ... and 1/8" on the other side ... it allows for perfect precision like I needed to perform surgery on this sentiment.
this is so cute!!! my cut-align arrived last week and i LOVE it :)
