Dad Weekend

My long weekend with Dad is drawing to an end.  Our big project this time was replacing the kitchen faucet ... after a 2nd trip to Menard's because pieces were missing from our first purchase, install went smoothly ... and I adore it.

I introduced Dad to Snapchat.

And we had fun hitting-up the antique stores where I found (but didn't buy) a Captain Kangaroo Doll ...

and a creepy clown costume pattern that I'm pretty sure my Mom used for my brother's Halloween Costume when we were young.

We did lots of other things that weren't really picture-worthy ... paint touch-ups throughout the house, cleaning out the area under our in-cabinet trash cans, and repairing a zipper on one of my coats ... all-in-all a wonderful time was had by all.
