It's another great release at Technique Junkies this month ... lots of beautiful Holiday Stamps to get you in the mood for Christmas Card making.
Remember, all new release stamps are 15% off through October 8th ... and you can use my Discount Code TJ10Stephanie for 10% off anything in the store (the store is also carrying the wonderful Versafine Clair Inks that I used for my projects).
Once I started creating with the new Framed Poinsettia I didn't want to stop. I love a stamp that covers the entire card front and pretty much makes the card for you.
I started by stamping the Framed Poinsettia in White Craft Ink and Embossing with White Detail Embossing Powder.
Next I sprayed on two shades of Shimmering Bliss - Festive Flamingo & Just Squeezed. I focused the darker orange on the leaves to build up contrast between the two shades.
I used a Distress Crayon to add the lime green to the seeds at the enter of my bloom and finished with a sticker sentiment ... I love that a Poinsettia, particularly in these colors, doesn't have to necessarily be a holiday card ... so lovely and versatile.
For the next one, I stamped the Framed Poinsettia image in black on pale pink cardstock and clear embossed.
I used several shades of pink Spectrum Noir markers and two shades of green to color in the image. I framed it in black and lime green, which I think really makes the pale shades pop.
Don't tell the others, but I think the Pink One one is my favorite.
The third version of my Framed Poinsettia I stamped in white craft ink and embossed with detail white embossing powder before Spraying with water & painting with Ken Oliver Color Burst Powders (we have a wide selection of Color Burst Powders in the Technique Junkies store and the 10% off coupon will work for those too). They are so fun to use.
For my final two cards, I had fun with some clean & simple (and mailable) Christmas card designs.
I adore these fun Groovy Christmas Stamps (the set includes both the VW Van and the sentiment). I thought it would be fun with holographic paper.
I added glossy accents to the headlights for some fun dimension ... and colored the Christmas lights red.
The wrap of silver ribbon added some sparkle.
I also love the absolutely gorgeous Vintage Merry Christmas image ... the detail is so lovely.
I stamped it on some painted designer paper and framed it with some copper nailhead stickers.
My final card is a clean & simple design that features the new Pine Spray stamped in Versafile Clair Rainforest ... I colored the pinecones with brown pencil.
I added some golden brown gems and gold washi tape together with the All Is Calm Sentiment ... love the combination of fonts.
Make sure you keep hopping along to see all of the wonderful stamps that are new in the store today.
