Since today is Pay It Forward Day (and to do something that makes me feel good since I'm sad my Sister headed home today), I'm sharing a medium flat rate box filled with stamps and all sorts of goodies with one blog reader.
I will draw a name next Saturday morning at 8am CST from all commenters on this blog post ... just share one of your favorite memories you had with someone you love.
Watching my sister's face as we rode the Ferris Wheel at Navy Pier this week ranks right up there for me.
My mom lives in Wyoming, my brother lives in New York and I live in Arizona. My brother was visiting my mom and I decided to surprise both of them and show up. I pulled up to my mom’s house at the same time as my brother and he looked confused. We both walked up to my mom’s door and when she opened it and saw both of us and she was so excited and happy. It was awesome!

Yesterday I had the opportunity to listen to my 17 year old son give a speech. Not only that but I was able to watch him in his element of youth leadership in the student governor’s role. He’s graduating from high school in a month and seeing him yesterday and how mature he is, I know that it’s all going to be okay and God has big plans for him!

I'll never forget the moment our first son was born. The look on my husband's face was priceless. He was laughing and crying at the same time. The love he already had for our little boy was so evident. He struggled for 2-1/2 years to get pregnant, and there he was - our perfect little bundle of joy...and his very proud Daddy. (And now I'm crying). Thanks so much for the chance to win, now it's time for me to sit down with a cup of coffee and think of a way for me to pay it forward today.

So sorry you sister had to leave, always sad when family has to go! Great picture of your sister! I’m at a crop this weekend so there are so many memories but I’ll go with those days when my children were smaller and we went to the lake to swim and play. Thanks for the chance to win!

One year ago, our first grandchild was born. even though she lives across the country I have been able to spend quite a bit if time with her. I cannot believe how much she grown and changed. I love when I come in the door, and the arms go up for me to hold her. She and I have done hand and footprint art and I love the memories we are making.

My favorite memory is of the day my 2nd granddaughter was born. It was a planned home birth and I was the one who delivered and caught my granddaughter! She loves when I tell the story of her birth and tell her why I call her my football baby. She flew out into my hands like a football and I caught her!

My great nephew loves Chuckee Cheese. No one will take him but me. I love the hugs and kisses he gives me because I take him. I hope the eight year old will continue to let me take him. I am on his wish list for the summer. He can pick five special things to do with his grandparents this summer. So far, a ride in a helicopter, an ant farm, and Chuckee Cheese with Aunt Sara!!!

My beautiful 5 year old grand daughters we wanted me to make a blanket for her new American Girl doll, Lily. I told her I thought she could make one herself and showed her how to tie fleece on felt. She and I spent the afternoon creating and it brought back so many memories of me and my grandma spending time this way. super wonderful day.

One of my favorite memories is when my husband and I first felt our baby kick. He just happened to put his hand on my belly and the baby kicked it! It's a moment that was so special and I'll never forget.

I cannot possibly share all the memories with my bestie Laura, but the most recent was when she came over to visit last week and stayed 3 days!! She lives in a neighboring state and we don't get to see each other nearly often enough. Love her to pieces since we started school together nearly 50 years ago!

How fun! Looks like she was having a great time!
I just got home about a week ago from a really fun trip to Disneyland! Went with my hubby and we had a wonderful time. The highlight was watching the fireworks at the park the second night we were there.... they were spectacular!
