The first challenge in Ellen Hutson's 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist was a technique challenge to make a Tag using 3-D Die Cuts.
In watching the video, the recommendation was to use a symmetrical die, but I couldn't one in my stash that I thought would work ... so I ended-up using my Christmas Tree ... the key was folding the tree in half in two different directions, so I could match-up the identical sides of the tree as I created my 3-D effect.
For my feminine twist, I decorated my green cardstock tree using pink (and a little red) bling and a pink bling star at the top.
This totally ROCKS!! I think I need to make a 3D tree now on some tags!!!
