We're still celebrating a GOLD (or Silver or Copper) Christmas at Jingle Belles. This week I went all gold.
I started with some golden metallic cardstock I found in my stash and then die cut my sentiment from Gold Glitter Paper. I finished with gold sequins for a bit more sparkle.

All you need are a few stickers, washi tape, brads and designer papers to pull together a set of quick Christmas cards.
The first one uses Merry Christmas Washi Tape for the border, a poinsettia brad embellished sticker and lots of new flower bling for snowflakes.
When I saw the fun retro colors in the Wreath Inspiration Photo at The Card Concept, I knew the Daily Flash Eggnog Collection from October Afternoon would be perfect (and have long been hoarded in my stash).
I started by cutting a wreath shape from pink cardstock. Next I began decorating my wreath using Pillow Puff Stickers & Pop Drops from the Egg Nog Collection, as well as Bling and Enamel Dots from Eyelet Outlet.
I used Foam Tape to attach my wreath to a Stampin' Up wood textures designer paper panel reminiscent of the inspiration picture and then added a pillow puff sticker sentiment to the middle of the wreath instead of the house ornament in the picture.
With all of that fun bling, this card will have to find it's way to someone on my Christmas Card list who is "bling-worthy" (which means they appreciate the hoarding of bling and what it means when you share this much with someone).
The current Impression Obsession Challenge is 'Tis the Season - to create a holiday card.
I pulled out my Christmas Icon Dies (DIE220-Q) and cut them from white cardstock for a CAS design.
I combined them with a scrap of green marbled paper and a sentiment from Holiday Words (3189-LG) using a sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping.
Rather than ribbon, I used a strip of cardstock and an Eyelet Outlet Flower Bling (which reminds me of a snowflake).
The Sisterhood of Snarky Stampers is challenging us to create with "I is for Industrial" this week.
I knew I wanted to use one of my Gel Press Printed Deli Papers as my base.
I decided my green gears coordinated perfectly with this Vintage Studebaker that I detail cut from a vintage book page (so I'm linking up at the Very Vintage Theme at the Paper Craft Crew Challenges).
I added some black cardstock for my road and a birthday sticker to finish my Industrial Design.
Ellen Hutson has been celebrating United We Flourish for their 11th Anniversary.
Ellen has always been my go-to-store for crafting supplies. Her delivery is lightening fast and her service is impeccable ... and I love her Essentials by Ellen stamps. There is a challenge to create a card using your favorite Essentials by Ellen product, which was virtually an impossible choice for me ... however the Bold Blossom Stand Alone Dies are the one I tender to grab the most. They are so flexible and can have so many different looks.
Today I used them to create a CAS mixed-media look with Gel Press Prints and hand-marbled papers. To create the flower backgrounds, I traced the outside edge of the dies and hand-cut them.

I am always grateful when I have creative time to join in the monthly Blog Hop at PaperTrey Ink. Today we're inspired by this lovely photograph.
Having hosted the Inspiration Challenge for years at SplitCoastStampers, I'm always amazed at how different people take different inspiration from a single photograph. For me, my eyes went immediately to the rug under the table. I loved the wonderful texture and the how the outlines were lighter than the rug.
I started by die cutting ivory specialty paper with the Cover Plate: Quatrafoil Die. I then used strong adhesive to attach it to a piece of burlap paper to bring in the texture of the rug.
I die cut my large thankful sentiment from the Counting My Blessings Die Cuts from a piece of watercolor paper that I had previously painted with Gold Stazon Studio Glaze to mimic the large gold word on the table. I searched through my stash for a pumpkin, but instead settled on a squirrel sticker because the acorn reminded me of the pumpkins on the table.
This weeks SplitcoastStampers Inspiration Challenge comes from The Company Store. Their catalog arrived in my mailbox this week, and as I thumbed through I immediately saw inspiration ... specifically, this adorable Holiday Penguin Stocking.
I knew I had some holiday penguin stickers in my stash that needed a home, so I combined them with some papers from my Paper Marbling Marathon with Lauren earlier this year. I started with green & gold marbling on kraft cardstock and added some birch wood wrapping paper (that I made a special trip to Pier One to pick-up this week ... it's fantastic) that reminded me of the background in the picture.
I attached my penguin sticker to a Ranger Craft Tag and stamped my vintage Hero Arts sentiment in Stampin' Up Emerald Envy ink. I tilted it like the stocking in the photograph.
For the second one I started with a piece of red & white marbled cardstock on kraft paper. For this one I skipped the tag and attached my penguin pair directly to the wood wrapping paper.
I used wood mount Hero Arts Winter Wonder for my sentiment with my new Catherine Pooler Designs Rockin' Red Ink (still lovin' that ink). My sentiment is from 2014, so I am also linking up at Retro Rubber which has an Anything Goes Challenge this week.

For my card, I used the November Sketch for You To Try together with Reverse Confetti One Day at a Time Stamps.
To get the gradient effect on the sentiment I used my MISTI and new Catherine Pooler Inks. Is started by stamping the entire sentiment with Mint to Be.
Then I inked the bottom word of the sentiment (and a bit of the middle word) with Aquatini. I used my finger to smudge the ink a bit before stamping, so there wasn't a hard line between the two colors.
I finished by only using Aquatini on the bottom sentiment. The final touch was some layered sequin and pearl flowers.
