I went with a snowflake-theme again this week for the Jingle Belles Embossing Around the Christmas Tree prompt ... but this week I replaced the dry embossing with heat embossing.
I started with one of the Distress Oxide Panels I made using my Gel Press & my MISTI at the Stamp Junkie outing (unfortunately, a phone crash & die lost all of the remaining pictures from that experience.)
I stamped Hero Arts Stunning Snowflake Background in Dark Purple Ink and then clear embossed. Next I sprayed my background several times with water, dabbing up the ink with a paper towel until I got the look I wanted.
The purple embossed sentiment is from Hero Arts Naughty or Nice. I finished with a few holographic snowflake stickers and a fun little 3-D penguin sticker. The entire card was matted on a purple glitter base.
I'm also joining the Christmas Challenge at Simon Says Stamp.
We hope you'll have fun embossing and come join us.
Great card, love the colour, I don't do the emboss resist often enough it's gorgeous.
