When I saw the Birds of a Feather Challenge at Falliday Fest, I knew I wanted to use my hand carved feather stamp (by the talented Gina Cunningham) ... I just wasn't sure how.
Then I saw the sketch at CAS Colours & Sketches and the card came together quickly.
I used three colors of Distress Oxide on Ivory cardstock & hand-cut my feathers. The sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp You Got This.
I'm also joining the That's Sketchy Challenge at Shopping Our Stash.
Ooh, love it! I love so many things about this... let me tell ya: the hand-carved feathers, the simple design, the colors... excellent interpretation of the sketch, and thanks much for sharing at SOS this week.

The bright, cheery colors are a nice deviation from all the autumnal colors I've been seeing lately, and they work well with the hopeful sentiment you chose. Thanks for sharing your card with us at CC&S!
