When I was young, one of my favorite activities was sitting in my Gran's formal living room (remember when you had a formal living room) and reading her Ideals Magazines that were positioned on the coffee table. I love the wonderful photography and reading the poems. I especially loved the holiday editions, so those are the ones I'm usually hunting for at antique stores and estate sales.
Since we're still celebrating vintage designs at Jingle Belles, I went searching through my vintage paper and found a wonderful full-page image from a Christmas Ideals Magazine. Since full-page was a bit too large for cardmaking, I scanned it and sized it to 5"x7" ... don't you just love the look on her face.
I thought this sentiment from Impression Obsession sentiment from Holiday Words was the perfect finishing touch ... so you remember making popcorn and paper ring garlands for your holiday tree?
I'm also joining the Anything Goes Challenge at The Holly and Ivy Challenge.
Outstanding combo of vintage, modern and SNARK!!
