The theme for Day 3 of the 12 Tags of Christmas with a Feminine Twist is Foil. I learned how to use foil with double-sided tape at Share Joy earlier this year, and now was the perfect time to try it again.
I applied double-sided tape along the pattern of my designer paper and then foiled each stripe with gold foil. My focal image (the randy raccoon) was detail cut from the page of a fallen-apart children's book.
I stamped a sentiment from Essentials by Ellen 'Tis the Season in a blue to match his mittens. I finished with some sequin snow.
I'm also linking-up at My Time to Craft where the theme is Christmas Animals and at Sweet Stampin' Challenge Blog where the theme is Snow.
Fabulous tag, the foil looks gorgeous, the raccoon looks very merry! (Great recycling!) Thanks for joining us at Sweet Stampin' this week.

My grandmother kept everything, especially things that belonged to my dad and his siblings. The raccoon looks like the illustrations in some of the early Little Golden Books! That vintage look is so appealing! I LOVE your card!
