Lately I've been having Saturday morning insomnia, so I've been making the best of it by being productive and napping later. It's amazing how quickly you can get your grocery shopping done at 5am ... I was zooming through the aisles. And now that I'm home and everything is put away, I'm making cards until I crash.
The first place I stopped was the SplitCoastStampers Inspiration Challenge ... Audrie has an awesome Pinterest Board filled with business clothing Ideas. I chose this gorgeous green & black combination as my inspiration. I know I couldn't pull off that outfit (my feet gave up shoes like that ages ago), but I can make a card that draws on the inspiration.
First I was drawn to the gorgeous embossed texture of the purse. Instead of using the Alphabet, I used numbers ... We R Memory Keepers ABC Embossing Folder.
My next inspiration was that gorgeous lacy bracelet ... I pulled out a preview of one of the stamp sets that will be available from Stampin' Up during their SALE-A-Bration celebration called Delicate Details. I loved combining several of the lacy border stamps to create my own bracelet design.
Using this week's Freshly Made Sketch, I finished with stamps from another SALE-A-Bration set called Designer Tee (I'm so excited to be able to stamp T-shirts again with the coordinating die cut, but also the stamps can stand on their own).
awesome card, my favorite color.
I'm an early bird and during the holidays get my grocery shopping done super early, no crowds...it's awesome.
Yes to naps.

Wow! What a smashing color combo! I love how you pulled some of the details from the photo and incorporated them into your card. Thanks for playing along with us at Freshly Made Sketches!
