I just added my first stamps from Honey Bee Stamps to my collection ... I love the words in Kindness.
I combined it with Essentials by Ellen Bold Blooms for the November Mix-It-Up Challenge.
I was feeling like regal reds and purples tonight.
I added the coordinating Bold Blossom dies ... don't you just love that big bold kindness ... the world could use more big bold kindness.

I picked-up the Collectibles Die Cut Package from the Barber Shoppe Collection by KaiserCraft when I was traveling because I thought it would be fun for Masculine cards.
I started with a piece cut from Tim Holtz Ideology Kraft Resist paper inked with MFT Blue Yonder Ink.
Next I stamped the background with three stamps from Artistic Outpost Whimsical Melange. The final step was arranging my die cuts using foam tape on several for dimension.
While I had everything out, I made a second card (I need to do that more often).
I've had this Get Out the Fat Pants Sentiment from Unity for a while, but I have never used it. When I saw the current Unity Challenge was to make a Christmas card, I decided it was time to ink it up.
Only one problem ... I don't really have any Christmas Stamps from Unity other than sentiments. So I had to get creative ...
I decided that my adorable Swagger Chick with an Eyelet Outlet Santa Hat Brad was the perfect solution.

I wanted to make an Thankful Card for The Paper Players Challenge this morning.
This week I am grateful that our heat pump has finally been delivered and will hopefully be connected and operating this week. Due to a long, complicated series of events (specialty order required, wrong unit ordered, hurricane hitting manufacturing plant, etc.), we haven't had working heat or air conditioning since June, so we are thrilled that we're close to controlling the temperature in our home again. I am also grateful for how mild our Autumn has been so far, so it hasn't been much of an issue for the last month.
I also took my inspiration from this week's Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge with a theme of Felt.
I found some pretty felt leaves in my stash that were so old the adhesive had dried (Glue Dots to the rescue).
When I saw the off-set layers in this week's Freshly Made Sketch, I knew I wanted to do the off-set die cut technique I learned from Sankari at Stamp Joy ... it is so easy, and adds mailable elegance and the appearance of dimension. I used Taylored Expressions Retro Cutting Plate for my background.
I layered paper flowers and also fished out some vintage buttons from my stash inspired by the Curtain Call Photo. Somehow the only Taylored Expression Thank You stamp I have is Graphic Greetings Thankful, so I trimmed one of the sentiments from that collage to complete my design.
I'm also joining the Crafty Calendar Challenge which is Autumn Colors.
Tonight I needed a card for a upcoming formal Black & Gold Wedding.
I started with this week's CAS(E) this Sketch and Eyelet Outlet Love Washi Tape.
I made the most of my scrap of gold glitter paper and finished with an Impression Obsession Love Songs 1 Sentiment and a vintage A Muse Bride & Groom (I wish a current stamp company would make a similar silhouette).
We're hopping along to showcase Holiday Tags at STAMPlorations.
I stamped my STAMPlorations Holiday Sketches Christmas Flower in black ink on red cardstock and then used a Red Spectrum Noir marker to add a bit of depth to the shaded portions of the bloom. I dotted the center with a gold Kirarina Wink pen. I fussy-cut the flower and attached it to my tag, cut from gold metallic designer cardstock.
The sentiment is from STAMPlorations Holiday Hexagons. I tried stamping it in Golden Glitz Delicata ink, but there wasn't enough contrast. So without cleaning the stamp, I inked it with dark brown ink, which produced a gorgeous shimmery brown result (happy accident). I finished with golden glittery enamel dots and a brown ribbon.
The theme at Jingle Belles this week is Mele Kalikimaka ... since this is a tropical holiday greeting, we're making cards featuring flowers … could be a tropical hibiscus … or a traditional poinsettia … or anything in between.
I chose to feature the traditional Poinsettia ... in this case Essentials by Ellen Mondo Poinsettia.
I stamped it on red cardstock and used my Kirarina Wink Gold Metallic Pen to color the center. Next I blinged out my blooms with lots of golden gems.
The layout is this week's Sketch from Just Add Ink. I finished with a sentiment from EBE Cozy Christmas and accented with some soft golden pearls.
It's month two of my Guest Design gig with the STAMPlorations CAS Card Challenge. This month's twist is one of my favorite hues ... PURPLE. I hope you'll come join me.
