I am THRILLED to be a Guest Designer at the Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights Challenge for November.
Essentials by Ellen Pin-Sights challenge is a monthly inspirational challenge based on a Pinterest Inspired photo that is located on the CLASSroom blog (and seen below). A random challenge participant will receive a $50 gift certificate to the Ellen Hutson store. To be eligible, you MUST use Essentials by Ellen products and the photo badge as inspiration.
I used a little from most of the photos to inspire my design. I started with the cart full of squash ... added some brown from the fence rail on the path ... leaves ... twine. So much to inspire.
I started by taping down a piece of watercolor paper to my non-stick sheet and spraying it with water. Next I squirted on four colors of Color Burst Watercolor Powders and then let it dry.
Next I die cut four set of the Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies, Thankful by Julie Ebersole. On the die cut pieces, I stamped the EBE Thankful images in Hero Arts Intense Black Ink.
I used a piece of my watercolor paper for the border, adding a strip of brown paper to bring in the brown of the trail & fence. Next I started assembling my autumn collage using 3-D Glue Dots for a bit of texture. I used Cheese Puff Enamel Accents for the centers of the flowers.
I finished with the sentiment from the set together with a wrap of Lawn Fawn Orange Hemp Cord.
Please come join the challenge to support me in this fun endeavor (and for a chance to win $50 ... that's a lot of stamps).
