For tonight's card, I combined this week's My Favorite Things Sketch & Color Challenges.

I die cut the hat & gloves from MFT Warm & Fuzzy from pink adhesive felt and used a sentiment from Beast Friends.

It's also Warm & Fuzzy at Shopping our Stash.

Winter Wonderland Gift Bag

I found this pretty green gift bag on my recent travels, and I knew I could make it into something special with my Eyelet Outlet Brads & Bling.

 

I started with the gorgeous jewel blue swirl bling and then added coordinating flower jewels.

 

 

And since it's going to hold a Christmas gift, I finished with lovely snowflake brads.

Yes, this has been happening this week.

No time in my studio, but lots of time with my sister ... which includes lots of much needed laughter, shopping and good eats.

Dreaming of a White Christmas

We're still creating cards inspired by this gorgeous Christmas Mantel at Jingle Belles.

 

 

I wanted to feature a white Christmas tree this week ... and the design of the rug inspired me to use this gorgeous cable knit embossing for the background.  

 

 

I used a *home* themed sentiment to complete my design after decorating my tree with silver glitter enamel dots & a square bling for the *star*.

Very Merry Christmas

I love the colors in this week's Inspired by All the Little Things photo.

I used those colors to ink-up my Hero Arts Winter Trees and then added a teal sentiment from Hero Arts Naughty or Nice.

My light grey background was inspired by the wall and the white at the bottom of the image by the mantel.  I'm also joining The Paper Players where they're having a Clean & Simple Christmas.

I'm also joining A Blog Named Hero for their Holiday Challenge.

And Addicted to CAS is having an Ombre Challenge.

Black & White Courage

This week's Unity Stamps Challenge is to create using Black & White.

I inked up my new Steps of Courage stamps for a quick design.

I thought about adding some embellishments, but in the end thought that clean & simple was best.

Live in the Moment

This month's challenge at Impression Obsession is Chill Out! ... to create a card using cool colors.  For me, Cool means snow ... and snow means this Chin Up Snowman.

I used this week's CAS(E) this Sketch with sentiments from Impression Obsession Words for Art.

Howdy Pilgrim

Since Thanksgiving is on the way, I had to have some fun with Eyelet Outlet Pilgrim Hat brads and a few Grumplings.

 

Don't the cow and the bear look like they're ready for a Thanksgiving feast ... the chicken looks like she might by trying to head to safety.  The background papers were on my studio table, so I'm linking-up at Shopping Our Stash.

I'm Dreaming of a WHITE Christmas

For our final Jingle Belles prompt of 2016 (can you believe it) we're bringing you an inspiration photo.

I wanted to start by capturing the gorgeous white-on-white feel of the mantel decor, so I die cut my Hero Arts Tag from textured white cardstock, stamped the sentiment in Art Print Brown ink, and then attached it with foam to white cardstock embossed with a Nordic Holiday design from Taylored Expressions.  

Next I pulled in the wood-grain from the wine rack and the touches of blue on the wine labels and the mantel with Eyelet Outlet Enamel Dots to finish my design.  

I love how it captures the peaceful rustic feel of the photo.
